Two Athletics World Championships in London Sign up for London’s biggest sport event since the 2012 Olympics
Since London 2012, most of the headlines surrounding para-sprinting have been dominated by the ongoing rivalry between Paralympic Champion Jonnie Peacock and World Champion Richard Browne.
As a part of an ongoing series, we fire some quick fire questions to a number of athletes who will be looking to set the Queen Elizabeth Park alight at London 2017. Next up is the fastest man in para-athletics, Ireland’s Jason Smyth. The 28 year old sprinter, who is visually impaired has amassed four Paralympic gold medals and three world titles in and looks set to be one of the stars of the IPC Athletics World Championships next year.
With a personal best of 10.22 set in 2012, Smyth has aspirations of the highest order to make the Olympic and Paralympic teams for Rio, so here's a chance to find out more about the London-based athlete...
